Thermen Barendrecht reopened

We are very pleased to announce that Thermen Barendrecht has opened its doors again. The takeover by International Wellness Resorts (IWR) has ensured that the complex was able to transform into a luxurious wellness resort, with numerous new facilities. Ultimate relaxation for guests is the priority, as there are Guest Relations Officers to welcome everyone personally at the entrance. They will ensure that everything is arranged for you down to the last detail.

Guests are picked up by golf carts and welcomed in a special reception area where they are briefed on the day’s programme, while enjoying a drink. The completed renovated saunas are decorated with art, which enables guests to sit in a salt stone sauna whilst looking at Willem van Oranje or bathe in a bubble bath with a view on Johannes Vermeer’s Milkmaid. There is a wide variety of treatments and massages, such as a facial with caviar or a bamboo massage.

Of course, a culinary restaurant cannot be missing. None other than the famous chef Herman den Blijker came up with the concept and created the menu. In addition, he trained the staff and supervises the culinary part of the resort. In this restaurant, guests can enjoy their night in an oyster and sushi bar or a champagne and cocktail lounge.

The all new Thermen Barendrecht is again equiped with xPlan to run their entire operation. Think of Online Reservervations, Check in/out, F&B, Cashless Payment, POS, Scheduling, Management Information, Accounting, Kitchen Screens and more. As they are connected to the IWR central environment, all data is managed in one central place and business processes are unified. This results in great customer service and reduced costs!
